Aw c'mon, he does skinny Beckett people, all stretched out & whatnot. But I'll grant you, that's a helluva cat.

UF MIKE

I never got the Beckett-Giacometti connection people are always talking about. What's so skinny about Molloy? Malone? Murphy? I could go on. Anyway, that is one helluva cat. Reminds me of Orbit in terms of sheer longness.

I think it's that Attenuated Man deal, some sort of psychobabble thingy. I never sort of had the idea that Giacometti's figures were representations of Molly/Malone etc, but maybe the other folks that populate the Beckett stories, if that makes any sense.

I read his bio about 25 years ago,I remember him tracing his fascination with sculpture to his obsession with physical objects. He swears when he was 12 years old he would sit in the woods, look at the shape of boulders and get sexually excited to the point of orgasm.

I think I lifted that picture from you, Mike. You had it captioned as being Edgar and Johnny Winters cat or something. It was hilarious!

UF MIKE

I like your oil spill cleanup idea. Well I don't really, since I like cats, but it's really inspired!

Bulletholes

I sent it in to the Spill Suggestion Hotline. I thought it was brilliant, but they turned me down.

UF MIKE

some people just don't know a good idea when they hear one.
