hey uf, at the check out line at the grocery today, the woman ahead of me wanted to make small talk about the tabloid I was holding -to waste the time away while waiting, she says " I feel so sorry for the _____ -like I was supposed to know (the people with the eight kids who had a reality TV show (I missed it) I respond to her "Well I feel sorry for the cleaners at my husband's company who just lost work because of this recession" Just thought i'd share my growing assertiveness with ya. I could have just said "hmmm, yea thats too bad about them, how sad". but what the f lady DO YOU Even Know them??? they got plenty of dough displaying themselves while it seems like everyone is getting hit with salary decreases and loss of jobs, she goes yea My husband has been out of work for 6 months. I guess feeling sorry for the TV People is an escape. I really could use a night of monty python right about now... hope to see ya soon, share some fire works gazing moments. sis in law k

"the TV People" is a great and haunting phrase, Karoline. 'Feeling sorry for the TV People', how f-ed up are we!? The day will come people are feeling sorry for Elmer Fudd or Lara Croft.
